Atitech Workshops are located in the hangar Avio 1 and cover an area of about 4,500 m².
All MD80 wheels and brakes of Alitalia fleet are overhauled in Atitech shop, which is equipped with a hot stripping machine to speed up the rework process.
Because Atitech emphasis on high cabin standards, there is a big vacuum film application machine to support reconditioning of toilettes, galleys, walls and partitions.
Shops are also able to overhaul thrust reversers, air intakes, stairs, galleys,lavatories,PSU's,ovens,panels,trim floorboard,passengers and crew seats.
A shop is also available to provide stripping and painting of flight control surfaces.
