Airbus Defence and Space and the Italian company #Atitech have signed a General Terms Agreement (GTA) establishing a strategic collaboration framework for the provision of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services on Airbus military aircraft.
This GTA reinforces Airbus Defence and Space’s objective to strengthen the services supply chain within the European defence ecosystem, in a context of geopolitical uncertainty. This commitment to industrial collaboration aims to ensure long-term operational availability for Airbus’ customer fleets.
The agreement was signed by Felipe Steinmetz, Head of Commodity and Project Supply Manager Services, at Airbus Defence and Space, and Gianni Lettieri, Chairman and CEO of Atitech, during the MRO Europe Conference in London last week.
#Atitech, which already provides MRO services to Airbus commercial aircraft from its bases in Naples and Rome, will now expand its expertise to the military domain under this new strategic agreement.
