Hangar
Atitech performs base maintenance (heavy and light) in its hangars located on its two main bases in Naples Capodichino and Rome Fiumicino. In total we are able to accommodate up to 22 narrow body aircraft and 7 wide body aircraft.
capodichino AIRPORT
In June 2015, Atitech took over from Alenia Finmeccanica, now Leonardo, the business unit with hangars dedicated to building special versions of ATR regional aircraft. The business unit has been active for more than 50 years in the field of civil and military aircraft conversions, modifications and maintenance under the name Alenia-Aeronavali. Thanks to this acquisition, Atitech has five hangars on Capodichino with a dedicated painting facility.
fiumicino AIRPORT
With the acquisition of the Fiumicino assets (november 2022), Atitech has effectively doubled its capacity. The 5 hangars at Capodichino are joined by 4 at Fiumicino with 6 production lines for narrow body aircraft and 5 for wide body.
