Atitech’s Supportive Christmas has come to an end. The leading aircraft maintenance company, led by Gianni Lettieri, has made it possible to deliver 3800 warm meals in 19 days to families in need around the area of Secondigliano, San Pietro a Patierno e Arenaccia, in Naples.
This initiative comes from an idea of Gianni Lettieri, Atitech’s CEO, who involved Vincenzo Strino’s Larsec Association, the BCC of Naples, led by Amedeo Manzo and Fratelli la Bufala chain’s cooks.
Each day there was a different menu. Thanks to the contribution of 40 Larsec volunteers, coming from Naples and around that took turns on distributions, meals were daily taken from the canteen of Atitech’s headquarter and delivered still warm to the different areas . A solidarity chain that committed young people, and not only, in helping families and especially elders often lonely and in difficult circumstances.
Gianni Lettieri states: “I want to thank Larsec, BCC Napoli and Fratelli La Bufala for being part of this project. I am glad that this year we were able to double numbers compared to 2021. We guaranteed more deliveries and extended the initiative to extra days. That said, my commitment does not end here. There are too many families that, due to the pandemic, now live in poverty. The situation is not anymore bearable and we should all do what’s in our possibilities to support those who need help. We will soon launch new initiatives”.
