A new milestone for the Master’s Degree Course in ‘Aviation Industry Management and Operations’ yesterday at the Atitech hangars in Fiumicino. The largest independent MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) in the EMEA market, lead by Gianni Lettieri, continues its commitment to the advanced training of young (and not so young) talents in industrial aviation, in partnership with Rome’s ‘La Sapienza’ University. Theoretical lessons but also practical inspections in the field, directly on board aircraft under maintenance in Rome.
In addition to funding the provision of scholarships, in fact, Atitech – as a full partner – is also part of the technical executive committee of the Master’s programme promoted by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of La Sapienza University of Rome.
“Transferring skills and passion remains our first objective,” explained Atitech’s president and CEO Gianni Lettieri. “The collaboration with La Sapienza University is in addition to those already initiated by Atitech with the Neapolitan universities, Federico II and Parthenope.”
A total of 18 people took part in the course, which started last February, including three women. Ten are university students under 30 and eight are Enac employees.
“We are focusing,” commented Osvaldo Ciaravola, director of operations at Atitech, “on providing participants with the necessary tools to improve their technical and managerial skills.
