Gianni Lettieri received the Associazione Valore Uomo 2023 award

Gianni Lettieri received the Associazione Valore Uomo 2023 award with the motivation “for his daily commitment to enhancing the Italian industrial tradition by helping to bring Southern Italy to the forefront of technological development.”

The awarding was preceded by a presentation by former Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Gianni Letta, who traced Gianni Lettieri’s career, recalling how he was able to achieve in just a few years the relaunch of maintenance as proof of his entrepreneurial skills and emphasizing his profile as a “self-made man”: a valuable exception in the Italian industrial panorama.

The Valore Uomo association was founded in 1989 with the aim of promoting the protection of human rights. The award ceremony, now in its fourth year, was held in the splendid setting of Villa Miani in Rome and was enlivened by Mameli’s anthem performed by the Virgilio High School choir.

Among the other awardees were Fausta Bergamotto (Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy); Toni Capuozzo (journalist war correspondent); Luca Goretti (Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force); and Don Luigi Merola (President ONLUS “A’ Voce d”e Creature”). Marco Di Buono conducted the evening.
